Who are Lancaster Cars?

We are a specialist transfer taxi service and we provide passengers with a vehicle and a driver to transport them to or from London Postal Codes, Hotels, UK Airports and Seaports.

Established for over 40 years we are one of the fastest growing Private Hire Companies in London and are fully licenced by the Public Carriage Office.

What areas do you cover?

We cover the Greater London area primarily, we also work with our service partners and supply transportation in services in Buckinghamshire & Heftfordshire and now the Manchester area.

How far in advance do i need to book my journey?

All online bookings should be made 24hrs before the journey is due to commence, however we also offer transport for journeys required with less than 24hrs notice, please call us on the telephone number at the top of our page to make your booking now.

Are your drivers qualified?

All drivers working for our company are fully qualified, licenced and registered with the local licencing authority for London which is the Public Carriage Office. 

All our drivers also undertake an in-depth knowledge test before joining our fleet.

How easy is it to book with you?

We don’t require much information, just let us know the pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers and contact details.

Do you operate a fixed price policy?

Yes, the price you are quoted is the price you pay.You however be charged additional fees if you have ordered the wrong type of vehicle for your journey. (e.g. you order a saloon and all your luggage does not fit into the boot.) You would then be charged the difference of an estate car. 

Do you require advance payment?

No, its completely up to you. You can pay the driver in cash when you reach your destination or should you wish to pay in advance, you may do so online using your credit / debit card.

We do not keep any record of you card details and only use reputable, safe and secure payment processing services.

Can i get a receipt?

Yes, if you need a receipt just ask your driver. All drivers carry a receipts book in their vehicles and will be happy to give you one at the end of your journey. If you have paid by credit/debit card then you can print out the payment transaction as your receipt.

For account holders, monthly itemized invoices are issued by email or post.
